This is a great inversion therapy device if you don’t fancy inverting a full 90 degrees for whatever reason – the maximum angle this tilts to is 65 degrees. As you are actually sitting in it most people find it a lot easier to get in/out of and slightly less daunting to use than a ‘proper’ gravity table.
This Inversion Therapy chair is currently available through this link on Amazon.
You’re only in a sitting position to start off with though – the bottom seat’s on a slider which slides with you as you flip so that when you are fully inverted you are lying virtually flat as if you were in bed (but at an angle of 65 degrees) – take a look at the pictures below to see what I mean :
It’s a sturdy, solid piece of equipment (it weighs about 85 lbs) so although the initial assembly isn’t difficult you’ll find it’s a lot easier to do if there’s 2 of you.
So what’s if good for ?
It helps relieve tension and the gravity assisted traffic helps reduce spinal compression. If you’re looking for therapeutic or preventative health maintenance by complete decompression and increased blood flow then this is great. It’s also pretty handy if you want to build your abb muscles.
